Two-member team to leave for Kenya today
It is stated that Two-member team will leave for Kenya today for further investigation of Arshad Sharif Murder Case. Firstly government selected the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Intelligence Bureau (IB) officers as its members.
But after that, government changed the plan and includes FIA Director Athar Waheed and IB’s Deputy Director General Omar Shahid Hamid as a member only.
This team will work under these initiatives:

The team will leave for Kenya today at Friday , Oct 28.

The team will stay in Kenya for 15 days to investigate the murder of Arshad Sharif.

The team will submit its report directly to the interior ministry.
KP Govt Claims That CM Has Nothing to Do with “Threat Alert” For Arshad Sharif
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Thursday claimed that provincial Chief Minister Mahmood Khan had nothing to do with the issuance of a letter by the counter-terrorism department regarding threats to the life of senior TV anchorperson Arshad Sharif.
A ‘threat alert’ regarding the plans of a splinter group of the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan to target Mr Arshad earlier in August this year has put the spotlight on CTD advisory as director-general of the Inter-Services Public Relations Major-General Iftikhar Babar told a presser on Thursday said the CTD letter in question was issued on the directives of CM Mahmood Khan.

Pakistan’s security Agencies (Army and ISI) are in unprecedented presser on the question of Arshad Sharif exit from Pakistan.
In an explosive and unexpected press conference, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Lt Gen Nadeem Ahmed Anjum joined Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) DG Lt Gen Babar Iftikhar to speak about journalist Arshad Sharif’s killing and former premier Imran Khan’s confrontational narrative against the military, as well as a host of other related topics.
This is the first time in Pakistan’s history that the head of the country’s spy agency has directly addressed the media.
