Indian singer Sonu Nigam was attacked during a concert by Shiv Sena’s state assembly member Prakash Phatarpakar’s son along with his colleagues.
It is being told that during the concert, the politician’s son tried to meet Sonu Nigam, on which his bodyguards forbade him and started beating him.
The video of the incident is going viral on social media, in which it can be seen that Sonu Nigam and one of his colleagues also sustained injuries during the beating.
The brother’s leg is broken and Sonu himself is seriously injured. They were shifted to a nearby hospital.
It is said that a few years ago, Sonu Nigam had given his statement on switching off the speaker during Azaan, after which he was targeted several times, but now he was attacked during a live show.
Sonu wrote on his Twitter account that I was pushed, which caused me to fall down the stairs when two colleagues came to chew me out and we were hit.
I will also file a case against those who did this and deliberately took selfies.
